Here’s the info on the weekend, from Chad:

Friends,

We’re just 2 weeks away from my very first Songwriting Weekend here in Worcester, VT — and this is your last chance to join us.

From September 12-15, we’ll gather at a beautiful Vermont homestead at the foot of Worcester Mountain to write, share, and create something you’ll carry for the rest of your life. You’ll get one-on-one coaching with me, amazing food (yes, Katie’s lasagna is on the menu 🍝), and time to finish that song you’ve been meaning to write.

Highlights include:

  • Personal songwriting sessions with me
  • An intimate concert where I’ll share songs & stories from the road
  • Maple creemees at Morse Farm 🍦
  • Group meals, late-night swims, and stargazing under Vermont skies ✨

There are only 3 spots total and once they’re gone, they’re gone.

💰 $1,495 (all-inclusive: meals + lodging)
👉 A $750 non refundable deposit secures your spot. Make deposit at link below.

If you’ve been thinking about it, now’s the time — don’t miss this chance to create your song and be part of an unforgettable Vermont weekend.

Many thanks,
Chad

I Will

I Will

Held together by a thousand wrongs
She knew what she was doing
Time don’t wait for no one
Life goes on

Send a postcard and write a song
But you knew what you was doin
Doesn’t mean that there is
Nothing wrong

When your horse is winning
You let him run
And when the moonlight’s fading
Here comes the sun

I will
I will
I will
I will

I will
I will
I will
I will

The queen of hearts and the ace of spades
Pay no look behind the curtain
It is not as if I was
Born yesterday

As the twilight slowly fades
Are you sure and are you certain?
It isn’t worth the gamble
Anyway

Ain’t no sense in regretting
What’s done is done
When the devil’s grinning
You fire your gun

I will
I will
I will
I will

I will
I will
I will
I will

[inaudible]

I will
I will
I will
I will

I will
I will
I will
I will

I will
I will
I will
I will

I will
I will
I will
I will

Why, Baby?

Why, Baby?

Why, Baby?

Baby,

Roses are red, violets are blue
We’re gonna have to come up with some other color
to describe
your hue

Day into night, night into day
I don’t know, I don’t keep track of time
now anyway

That’s just how things have been rollin’ these days

I saw you bend down, I saw you cry
The only question I have is why?

We go downtown baby, you talk so rough
You combed your hair back, with your cap you look so tough
What’cha gonna do with it, when I told you not to go down
Just like in that song, you don’t take your guns downtown

No!
Why, baby, baby, why?
Why, baby, why?

Two steps forward, one step back
I’m goin’ away, rollin’ down the track
I held you once, I can do it again
Strangers to lovers, then lovers back to friends

And it’s just one more question
that I have to ask you,

Why, baby, why?
Why?

Holy & Alone

Holy & Alone

Holy & Alone

I’m not so insignificant
I’m gone with the wind
Not so unneeded
as to keep myself a secret

Not to be only lonely
But to make every moment holy

I hold up a humble gentle crooked mirror
I hold it wholly, double it up, try to see clearer

The old familiar voice comes calling down through the ages
The home I found in my mother’s faces

Don’t let me be hidden from you
Help me to hold up, lift up your heart

The colors of your painting
Lines that I see so clear
Where I want to make my home
Like a steady sailing shot
That carries me
